""Treasure Seekers":
A vintner, lying laughing (dying), called his sons and said:/
"In our vineyard lies a treasure, dig it out!" "In what place?"/
Each cried aloud to their father. "Dig it out!" Alas! there the man died./
No sooner was the old man buried, than they dug with all their might./
With pickaxe, hoe, and shovel, the vineyard was surrounded./
There was no clod that remained still; they cast the earth even through the sieve/
And dragged the rakes far and wide, after every pebble./
However, no treasure was found, and each felt deceived./
But as soon as the following year appeared, it was discovered with astonishment,/
that each vine bore threefold. Then the sons grew wise/
And now they dug - year after year, ever more the treasure."
